This year we have over 65 participating establishments for the annual fundraiser by Basic Rights Oregon called Bites for Rights. These progressive and affirming eateries, bars and coffee houses donate 15% of their proceeds from Thursday, June 18th. So make it a point to make a day of it and support these great businesses!
The more you patrons spend, the more money that will be raised for Basic Rights Oregon. You have a great excuse to eat good eats and help out a great cause at the same time. FYI, Basic Rights Oregon is the state’s largest organization working to end discrimination based upon sexual orientation and gender identity in Oregon.
